A Discord ticket bot you don't have to code

Members press a button and get a private channel that only they and your support team can see. When the problem is solved, anyone in the ticket can close it. The template runs on slash commands and buttons, so it works on the Free plan.

What it does

  1. A moderator runs /ticket panel in the channel where members should ask for help.
  2. A member presses Open a ticket. The bot makes a private channel named for them and gives them and your Support role access.
  3. The bot posts a welcome message in the new channel with a Close ticket button.
  4. When the issue is sorted, someone presses Close ticket and the channel is deleted.

Commands

  • /ticket panel

Posts the Open a ticket button in the current channel. Only people who can manage the server can use it.

Before you add it

  • A role named Support. Anyone with it can see every ticket.
  • The bot's permission to manage channels and roles, which the invite link asks for.

How adding it works

Press Add to my server and Buildcord asks you to sign up or sign in. It then makes a new bot from this template, with every flow already drawn. Paste your Discord bot token, add the bot to your server with the invite link and deploy. Nothing is final: the template is an ordinary bot you can open and change.

What you can change

  • Rename the role, or add more roles that can see tickets.
  • Put new tickets under a category so they stay together.
  • Change the wording of the panel and the welcome message in the Embeds page.
  • Add a step that saves the conversation to a collection or posts a log message before the channel is deleted.

Questions

Does the ticket bot keep a transcript?

Not as it comes. The channel is deleted when the ticket closes. You can add steps before the delete to post a summary to a log channel or save details to a collection.

Can members open more than one ticket?

The template allows one new ticket a minute per member. To limit members to a single open ticket, add a collection that records who has one and check it before the channel is made.
